Julie Dahl moves to CEO of IRES MLS from chief operating officer, succeeding outgoing chief executive Jeff Bosch, according to an announcement on Wednesday.
Dahl, a 23-year veteran of the North Colorado MLS, will take over in the coming weeks as Bosch departs to become CEO of Arizona Regional MLS.
Dahl joined IRES in 2003 as director of training and communications and has held posts including director of operations and vice president of industry relations before being named COO. The MLS said that path gave her hands-on experience in product training, customer support, internal operations and broker and association outreach.
The IRES MLS Board of Managers said it selected Dahl for her institutional knowledge and relationships across both the local brokerage community and the national MLS space. As CEO, she will focus on staff support, customer service and operational strength as the organization adapts to ongoing changes in how listing data is shared, monetized and regulated.

IRES said Dahl also brings national MLS experience to the role. She has completed the Council of Multiple Listing Services (CMLS) CMLX MLS Professional and CMLX MLS Executive programs and has served as a CMLS facilitator. She maintains ties with Northern Colorado real estate associations and neighboring MLS operators, which could be important as regional consolidation, data share agreements and changing compensation rules reshape MLS strategies.
Bosch, who led IRES for four years, will remain with the organization through a transition period before heading to Arizona. During his tenure, he oversaw modernization of IRES’s systems and tools and served on the board of the CMLS, helping shape best practices for MLSs nationally.
