CAMBRIDGE, Mass. —Elaine Construction hascompleted constructionof Noodle Lab, a new fast-casual restaurant at238 Main Streetin Cambridge’s KendallSquare. The restaurantis now openand serving customers.
The Newton-basedconstruction managementfirm completed theproject in 13weeks, transforming avacant white-boxspace inside theoccupied building intoa fully built-out noodle bar.
The fast-trackedproject included acomplete commercial kitchenfit-out, withElaine Construction installinga kitchen hood, specialized noodle barequipment and adishwasher. The project alsoincluded custom millworkthroughout the restaurant.
Because construction tookplace inside anoccupied building at238 Main Street, the project requiredclose coordination tominimize disruptionto the restof the property. Elaine Construction workedwith building managementand project architectJTA throughout theconstruction process.
