DEDHAM, Mass. —Nordblom Company hasbegun construction onVantage, a new154-unit multifamilyresidential community nextto Legacy Placein Dedham.
The Burlington-basedcommercial real estatefirmannounced that constructionis underway followingthe completion ofdemolition and sitepreparation at theformer commercial property.
Vantage will replacetwo obsolete commercialbuildings with anew residential developmentfeaturing131 market-rateapartments and 23income-restricted homes.
The project islocated within walkingdistance of theLegacy Place retaildistrict, including WholeFoods, as wellas an MBTACommuter Rail station. The location willprovide future residentswith access toshopping, dining andcommuter rail serviceto Boston.

New apartments andcommunity amenities
The planneddevelopment will includea range ofamenities for residents, including a fitnesscenter, resident worklounge and landscapedcourtyard.
Vantage willalso feature asky lounge witha kitchen andoutdoor terrace.
Construction is beingled by ErlandConstruction, while Stantecis providing architectureand civil designservices. According toNordblom, the project teamhas a longstandingworking relationship withthe company andbrings decades ofcombined experience deliveringresidential and commercialdevelopments throughoutthe region.
Construction is expectedto be completedinspring 2028.
Redevelopment of formercommercial site
The Vantage projectrepresents the redevelopmentof a formercommercial property intoa multifamily residentialcommunity. Once complete, thedevelopment will add154 homes toDedham, including the23 income-restrictedunits.
Its location adjacentto Legacy Placeand near commuterrail will placeresidents closeto an establishedretail and diningdistrict while providingrail access toBoston.
