With all the excitement and controversy surrounding the election, it is important to conduct your own research. Today, we will look beyond the political rhetoric to focus on where the main party candidates stand on the issues of Crowdfunding and P2P regulations.
Our search began on the official websites of the candidates: Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton. Unfortunately, we did not find specific stances on crowdfunding or peer to peer lending regulations. Further investigation led us to conclude that there is limited information available on these topics from both candidates. In order to make an informed decision as voters, we may need to speculate on their positions or enter the voting booth without clarity. Fortunately, Crowdfund Insider has provided some insight into this matter.
Based on his background as an investor and entrepreneur, it is assumed that Donald Trump may support crowdfunding and peer to peer lending. Although he has been associated with crowdfunding in the past, his current stance on these issues is unclear.
On the other hand, Hillary Clinton’s position on crowdfunding remains elusive. While she was not involved in the creation of the Jobs Act, her past political alignments and endorsements suggest a potential leaning towards supporting crowdfunding. However, without concrete statements from the candidate herself, it is difficult to determine her stance.
Ultimately, it appears that the true positions of the candidates on crowdfunding and P2P regulations may only be revealed after the election results are in and they begin to take action.
