BOSTON– Callahan Construction Managers has been awarded the contract to construct a new, $25 million two-story 59,000 SF continuing care neighborhood expansion at Linden Ponds, a retirement community managed by Erickson Senior Living in Hingham, Massachusetts.
A groundbreaking ceremony took place on May 25, 2023, with the new residents anticipated to move in early 2025. Erickson Senior Living, a national leader in senior living and healthcare, oversees a network of managed communities.
The assisted care building, named Granite Commons, will comprise 50 apartments of various sizes and will feature amenity spaces and enclosed courtyards. Amenities at Granite Commons will include activity and programming spaces, a family kitchen, living room, games lounge, library, media room, bistro, restaurant, fitness room, sun porches, and an interior courtyard with outdoor dining, a fireplace, and bocce ball facilities.
