U.S. Construction Spending Down Slightly in May
The U.S. government is reporting that total construction spending in May, 2022 was at a seasonally adjusted annual rate of $ 1,779.8 billion, which is 0.1% lower than April’s revised estimate and 9.7% higher than one year ago. Residential construction came in at a seasonally adjusted annual rate of $ 938.2 billion in May, which is 0.2% higher April’s revised estimate.
